Alot of very key seniors graduated last year from teams like Churchill, BCC, Magruder, WJ, Wootton. RM was super young last year but I guess should be better, assuming all of their players come back and history says they usually have the talent to compete. Wheaton was good last year and gets just about the whole team back. Northwest should be strong depending on how many role players they can find to surround their 2 studs. WJ has the POTY back and a decent supporting cast. Churchill seems to have lost some key pieces, but I think a few of their best players also return. Wootton has been up and down in recent years, but they are always a threat. Whitman had been much improved but I'm not sure what they lost from last year. My quick guess on the top four teams would be WJ, Churchill, Northwest, and Wheaton.

This team is nationally ranked and they have won their fair share of tournaments up and down the East Coast. I am confident in saying that these boys will likely start at their high schools and make significant impacts. I have 2 boys going to Clarksburg, 2 to Churchill, 1 to Northwest, 1 to Wootton, 1 to RM. I'm excited to see what happens - these boys definitely know how to play.

WJ has to be the favorite with Francesco Sani last years POTY and the return of both middles and their setter. But I think Northwest,Wheaton, and Churchill can give them a challenge

Thanks KingOfCourt. I wish we had a way to see the individual game scores as well. I wanted to create an ongoing "power ranking" in the county.

Looks like Walter Johnson is the team to beat defeating Churchill 3-1

Wheaton is still a wildcard and so is Northwest to some degree. Churchill losing 3-1 probably doesn't give them too much confidence if they have to face WJ again. Wheaton vs WJ and Wheaton vs Clarksburg are maybe the two most important games left for seeding purposes. NW looks like they can run the table the rest of the way and finish undefeated. If WJ can beat Wheaton they could also be undefeated and set record would determine the 1 seed. Then Churchill, Wheaton, Clarksburg will fight it out for the 3, 4 and 5 seeds. Churchill plays Clarksburg later in another game to watch out for. Never count out Wootton as they are always a threat to make some noise. After that there will be a large group of teams that have some talent but can't really compete with the top group (RM, WM, Whitman, etc.)
