The MCPS Division County titles have been decided (sorry for the delay in posting).
BCC has clinched the RED division title. This is their 5th division title overall. The last title for BCC was in 1996, which was their third straight (they won in 1994 and 1995).
Magruder has clinched the WHITE division title. This is their 12th division title and 2nd in a row.
Northwest has clinched the BLUE division title. This is their 4th overall and 4th consecutive, currently the longest streak in MCPS.
For those that are curious, here are the all-time division championship leaders: Damascus-14 Magruder and Wootton-12 (Magruder has won all 12 since 2001, Wootton won 7 in a row in the 1980s) Gaithersburg and Quince Orchard-9 (Quince Orchard won 7 in a row in the 1990s and Gaithersburg won 5 in a row in the early 2000s) Sherwood and WJ-8 Einstein, Churchill, Poolesville, Whitman, Springbrook-6 BCC and Watkins Mill-5 Rockville and Northwest-4 Kennedy, Seneca Valley, Paint Branch, Woodward (closed, but soon to reopen)-2 RM, Blake and Northwood-1

You say NW is currently the longest streak in MCPS, but below it shows Wootton & QO won 7 in a row and Gaithersburg won 5 in a row, do you mean longest streak in recent years?

Coach Zanni wrote "currently" the longest streak in MCPS so I read that to mean NW current 4 years in a row is more recent than the 1980s, 1990s or early 2000s for Wootton, QO and Gaithersburg, respectively
