It should be a fun season. Lots of teams seem to have some strong players. But nobody will totally dominate. So lots of good ball to be seen.
While we wait until March 21 for the matches to begin, who thinks we should have an all star game at the end of the season. The coaches could vote for who is in it. If not a true all star match at least a Sr all star like the girls. My daughter's friend played in the girl's version. It was fun to watch and she said it was lots of fun. The boys could be pounding and digging away. Who would like that?

I for one would love to watch that and would support it.

Just a quick reminder that only seniors may participate in all star games.

having an all star gae in general would be a fun experience for the players and for those who have been keeping up with the season in general

Just a quick reminder that only seniors may participate in all star games. So could there be annoys senior all star game? I think that'd be amazing.

Watched the RM vs Cburg scrimmage... RM freshman seem to have a lot of experience and look to be a serious threat.

I'm sure a lot of people would support it. No offense is meant by this, but parents/fans likely can't organize one with much ease. All the all-star games that take place in MCPS are run by coaches. The one boys all-star game that has taken place was organized by some of the boys coaches. The girls all-star game, which has now run for over 15 years is run by coaches. As an organizer of that event I can tell you that it's hours of work by many people. Between the selection of the players, teams, coaches, selection of a site, figuring out costs/budget and getting insurance, plus other tasks it's a big process.

QO swept Blake
QO:
Had one tall and athletic hitter (Brian Rhea). He's about 6'8 and can easily jump over blocks.
Blake:
Scrappy offense but their passing wasn't that bad. Their setter and libero are not too shabby.
