The Post released their 2015 All-Met teams today. Montgomery County has girls on the First, Second and Honorable Mention teams. Making ANY of these teams is a huge deal. The Post distribution area covers over 250 high schools or thousands of female volleyball players. Congratulations to all the girls who have been honored by the Post. www.washingtonpost.com/pb/2015-fall-allmet/volleyball/

Congratulations to these wonderful athletes and young ladies! A tremendous honor.
Someone (a guy named Digger) said back in November that Janaisya (first team All Met) would be one of the best players in the area, even as a freshman. And that the WCAC was very strong at the top ... AHC > GC in a thrilling finale, and McTigue, Conger, Rubino, and Westney as All-Met first/second teamers. Others on the board discounted the conference, as well as I disagreeertion that Damascus (MD 3A runner up) was superior to all of the MCPS teams besides Northwest.
Turns out, that guy knew what he was talking about. At least a little bit.
Looking forward to seeing these AllMet seniors in college, and all of these young women in club season starting in January.
Again .. Congrats! I'm in awe of your skills, talent and effort. Keep it up.
