Churchill had outstanding 2013 and 2014 seasons posting an 18-3 record and 17-3 record, winning a county division title each year.
Churchill returns veteran Cindy Hillard as head coach and will again play in the 4A West region (state playoffs) and 4A Blue division (MCPS). Churchill will also play in the Wootton Tournament.
Who are the key players for Churchill this year? What challenges do they face to continue their recent excellence? Who has Churchill scrimmaged?

Big statement win from Chirchill tonight. Defeated Sherrwood in 3 sets with none close. Wow. What were the scores of the games? Who played well for CHS? Not shocked that CHS won, but a little surprised at the sweep. Congrats on the big win.

Quality hits and digs from all the Churchill players. Very balanced load on hitting. But the big difference between the teams was defense. From point 1 to the end, Churchill was committed to defense.
Sherwood's hitter Kaiya did not have a great night. She struggled to find her hitting zone. But if she finds her groove, watch out. She hits hard.

I think the scores were CHS- SHS. 25-13, 25-20, 25-13 or something like that.
