Im not from the area, however I have attended several MoCo high school sporting events (different sports).
What is it with fellow students not cheering for their teams. I notice this A LOT.
there will be 30 kids for wither side in the stand but I may hear 5 at the most cheer or yell in support for their respective teen. When I was growing up, further down south...WE WENT CRAZY in the bleachers for our schools teams.
I also notice that the teams who get better support in the stands-- ALWAYS PLAY BETTER and HAVE MORE FUN.
Come on kids, support your schools athletes.

yes, wootton was playing off and churchill absolutely played well. the game was already lost however in set 3, the scorers missed giving two points to the board that were for wootton (point 17 & 18). all the parents noticed this....but the game went on without those points. it wouldnt be wise for any team to flaunt over confidence at this point. be proud of an accomplishment, but be a good sportsman. So you're blaming that for why Wootton lost in STRAIGHT SETS. There were two sets before that as well... The ref mistakenly gave the point to Wootton and reversed the call on those points. That's why you thought the scoreboard was incorrect. If it was incorrect, the Wootton coach or floor captain would have corrected it. But believe whatever you want to help you sleep at night.

"churchill absolutely played well" "the game was alread lost"
...therefore no, not blaming those points for wootton loosing. the game was already lost for them. churchill put in excellent work and earned that win in every sense.

Bobin Jijo of Clarksburg highschool has been incredible and fun to watch this season. He's definitely one of the best hitters in the county.

Sherwood looking like at least a top three team in the county. They defeat magruder 3-0. Magruder suprisingly chased sherwood up to the high 20's in the first set, but the experience, discipline, and overall power of the team was just too much. Magruder showed some great flashes at times, but quickly fell away.. Dont count them out yet, but we'll have to see how they respond to their first loss. Expect sherwood to make it to the finals this year, as right now i do not see anyone stopping them.

Impressed by Blair's performance against wootton high school. They pushed to five sets and only lost 13-15 last set. Great play and great game! They have an easy schedule but they should have some interesting games against Wheaton and BCC. Chris has really improved this team. If number 8 starts landing those jump top, hell be looking pretty scary. Had some misplays but looks like the kid can jump. Needs good sets to smash. Their captains are looking pretty good at hitting. Wootton looking a bit rocky. I think sherwood, churchill, wheaton, rm are at the top rn.
