Magruder will face Thomas Johnson on Thursday, November 13th at 6PM at Ritchie Coliseum on the campus of the University of Maryland at College Park. In the other 4A semifinal Broadneck will play Eleanor Roosevelt at 8PM. Admission for adults and children 7 and over is $8. Directions to Ritchie, parking lot information and more can be found at the mpssaa FAN focus website at: www.mpssaa.org/assets/fallsports/volleyball/fan%20focus%20FINAL%20VB.pdfFor parents: We are working on trying to get a bus from MCPS to leave Magruder around 3:45. However, MCPS usually doesn't have bus transportation available until 4:30. We will be putting in a special request monday morning. More information will be posted when we know more.

CONGRATUALTIONS!!! I am so excited I wish I could be there to watch but I wish you all the best of luck. The one thing I think about constantly in school is how much I miss volleyball and all those hours we spent in the gym. Looking back brings nothing but a smile to my face.

Tough loss tonight but congrats on a great season. A ton of quality wins and only 2 losses, one against GC who had "The Perfect Season" and one against TJ who may well end up the 4A champion. Not too shabby!

In my opinion any team from MOCO that makes State Final Four is a good season
MOCO Teams have a tough competition during regular season since there are a lot of MOCO teams that can beat you at any giving day. I don't think Thomas Jonhson or Broadneck have to compete with a lot of tough teams during regular season, maybe a couple of teams, if you look for example at the Magruder schedule, and I'm not involved with Magruder, they played a lot of power houses, some of them twice.
Please don't misunderstand me, Thomas Johnson and Broadneck are quality teams, what I am trying to say is that maybe they get to States healthier or less tired.
In any case we should be proud of our MOCO teams.
Good luck to Poolesville
