For the section playoffs is their record used just their head to head within the section or is it their total regular season? It could make a difference so I was wondering what the process is.

Good question. Seeding is done by regular season record (again tournament results, playoff results or conference championships don't count). If teams are tied, head to head REGULAR season results are used to break the ties IF all teams have played each other. So in a two team tie, head to head regular season winner would break the tie If three or more teams tie AND they have all played each other, then head to head regular season results are used. Any remaining ties are decided by coin flip conducted by MPSSAA (the regional directors such as myself aren't involved in the coin flip).

Sherwood beat the jags in 5 15-12. Was a great game but Sherwood pulled out the win. However, NW did not have one of their starting outsides, Anya, and had to make one adjustment to their lineup. Megan Wilson played great for Sherwood.

This should make the playoffs more interesting. I think everyone looked at Northwest as being invincible,
