I think that James Moyer is the best athlete in mcps who will lead Sherwood to victory. He showed this in the recent clarksburg game.

We saw the Sherwood/Clarksburg game & James Moyer was thingyy & arrogant (not in a good way). He was carded by the official for taunting/trash talking @ the net to the other team. Not a good example to follow.

The above post by GUEST123 has been edited and two other posts were deleted.
It's rare that I edit posts, but I'm not a big fan of what appears to be an adult or adults attacking a high school aged student and doing so behind a wall of anonymity.
Rather than using labels, name calling or derogatory terms, simply state facts of what happened or your opinions of what you believe happened during a match and then sign your name.
To be clear, analysis of a player's strengths and weaknesses are fine here (none of us are perfect), but anonymous name calling/labeling of a high school player isn't something I'm a big fan of.

I would like to make some mostly positive comments. As an RM parent, congratulations on a wonderful regular season with only dropping one set (kudos to Wootton). I know QO is not quite done, but congratulations to them and Coach Hollies. We have experienced a lot of great play and largely (but not universally) great sportsmanship. Skill levels vary widely and I give the most credit to the teams that are inexperienced but keep coming back. There is a lot of passion for the sport which I love. I would encourage coaches to discourage trash talk from their active players and benches. Let the play speak for itself. Be passionate but polite.
Good luck to all in the playoffs! I know we would all like our teams to win!

Other than the big three at RM, Moyer, and Noelle from Wheaton, have there been any other standout-dominant players from other teams? Wootton and QO have played very well, but I havent heard about any specific players from those teams. Hoping to hear about more players as the playoffs progress

QO is very solid all-around, but they have a standout setter in Andrew Yuan. On Wootton, Max Jin, Jimmy Ho, Justin Wu, and Victor de Avila are all experienced players capable of putting the ball down from anywhere.

What are the tiebreaking procedures if multiples teams are tied with the same record?

I believe it then goes to set percentage (sets won/sets played), and then a coin flip. Will have to wait for coach Zanni to clarify.

What are the tiebreaking procedures if multiples teams are tied with the same record? It gets a little complicated, but basically it's match record (11 total matches for all teams), then head-to head tie-breakers (there are a few possible scenarios here), then set/game record, then a coin flip.

What are the final results and rankings for the 25 schools? There are many ties on CSZ.

How is voting being done this year? Are the coaches voting following each game like in the past?
